Hi,

Could anyone enlighten me with the surname of Jean, who worked in the kitchen until the end of 1967?

I believe she would have been in her mid twenties and am sure she must have caught someone's eye, working in the Horsham campus.

I have pictures of her in the kitchen, stood next to Lamb A's crockery, for anyone who may need a jog of memory. I believe that she drove a car and may have socialised with some of the boys outside of the campus.

Any information greatly appreciated.

It might be worth posting the photos anyway if you wish to.

Seeing a face sometimes triggers memories. I'm afraid the name Jean means nothing to me though at the moment.

It looks very like a girl on whom I had a huge crush when at school (and a rather fun fling one night in 1970!) called Gill Emmett but I may be wrong...

That someone of this status [OT: I just felt an earth tremor... ] had a car in 1967 is barely credible. That she "may have socialised with some of the boys outside of the campus" almost goes without saying.
