ps. year old masking tape glue and arm hair dont mix. not quite sure how it happened, but just spent 10 minutes with a knife and neat fairy liquid seperating the 2, not advised
What's wrong with white spirit? Or even surgical spirit if you want to be nice to your skin? Neat fairy's good for cleaning dirt but you need to use a solvent as similar as possible to what you're trying to dissolve...

Who said chemistry wasn't useful in the real world? Would have saved you about 8 minutes. Unless you didn't have any whereupon you may have needed to go to the shop, which may have taken more that 8 minutes. OK, I'll stop now.

Perfume is very good for removing sticky stuff from glass, I expect it works on skin too, or aftershave I s'pose.

White spirit is more manly that Fairy, surely?

And does the job better too.

Saves time.

Generally hangs around the garage/shed/etc so is easy to locate in a masking tape emergency.

I could go on...

Permanent depilation. Just think, you'd never have to shave or wax again. Or indeed wash or brush any hair!
