Disneyland Paris
Had a great time - the kids were little angels and the broken arm didn't cause any problems either. I even braved Space Mountain 2 although I am glad that I hadn't eaten anything for a few hours before

I think the Skool mis-read the invitation.Great Plum wrote:Well I guessed that - just thought Disneyland was a slightly strange place to go or a concert!Mrs C. wrote:Playing/singing - and also in a couple of churches in Paris
When they saw the word cornet, they assumed the band was required. Shame, because it referred to an ice-cream !!

It is not unusual for bands to be invited to play at Disneyworld, Paris.
I was told of a band going from Ondara, a small town about 8 km from our village.
There had strict instructions about not looking around as they were marching and playing and not chatting to folks on the side lines. But other than that and having to pay for the trip, they got a free day at Disneyworld. I am not sure what the arrangement to go on rides was, but our band is now doing the numbers, that is, if our trip to Madrid falls through.

I guess it would have been more busy in July although it wasn't exactly quiet when we were there Some of the queues were really long but we managed to Fastpass a few rides.
