Milk vannishes before my eyes - I would buy 8 pints (YES 1 GALLOON) and it often was all gone by the end of a weekend...
these days he goes to a friends for meat and what my daughter eats I have no idea, but they were both brought up the same - eat what is put on your plate - clear your plate and don't Ever leave any over - or it's no pudding!

I remember being out for a meal in Paris when I was 8. I couldn't understand a damn word of the menu so my aunt ordered for me. When it came, there was something that looked like worms on it. I declared that "there is no way I am eating that foreign muck!" The family meal lasted for about 10 seconds more as I was dragged out of the restaurant!

I never did find out what those worms were, part of me has also dreaded finding the answer just incase it is a vomit inducing answer.

Knowing my aunt, it would have been disgusting. She once ate roast bull tallywhacker!!!!!

Could have been steak hache (mince to you) or our local speciality which is gesiers (chicken intestines).

Hey, we were talking about clearing your plate, not much of a digression there.

Ooops I have just looked at the name of the thread and we are well of topic. So lets see if we can get back on topic.

Does the week go by fast or slow for you? If you say it flashes past you then I suspect you are of the older generation. If the week seems to drag on for ever, You probably belong to the younger generation.
