Surely as a first step, and I don't say as the only step, would it not make sense to chop off loads of pages that are not looked at anymore?

For example right here on Non CH there are at least 10 pages of threads. It seems to me that there are 9 pages that are no longer of use or relevance. Could these all not be deleted saving a load of space on the site. There will be several pages on the CH stuff one too.

I don't say this is the only solution but it will help at least in the early days.

I'm sure we're talking about this somewhere else, but can we not just expand the storage and archive things that are old?

I have absolutely no technical knowledge at all, but would it be possible to save stuff to disc somehow too? if it`s to be "archived" .. :?

How do you know that they're not looked at?
