Women's football, anyone?

Post by midget » Mon Dec 03, 2007 8:39 pm

Browsing through a Newsletter from the Open University, I came upon an ad. for a programme about football for women. It's part of Auntie Beeb's Nation on film series, and will illustrate the rise and fall of women's football, using professional and amateur film from the time of WW1 to 1921. BBC1 on Thursday 13th. The web site at http:/www.open2.net is supposed to have more details.

For any gentlemen who enjoyed Airfix models in their youth (or possibly dotage) a programme on BBC2 on Friday 7th might be of interest.
