Flying penguins
Did anyone else see the piece about the flying Adelie penguins on BBC Breakfast Time this morning?
Absolutely amazing.
I have recorded it because I doubt if it will ever be seen again.

It got me for about 2 minutes...
much like the prank on Virgin Radio this morning where Christian O'Connell was talking to a 'MEP' because there was a new European directive on banning pint glasses by the end of the year... many listeners were taken in!

Re: Flying penguins
On Breakfast Time they didn't mention it was Terry Jones who had done it so it appeared (very slightly) more plausible.

Re: Flying penguins
me and the bf saw it this evening and spent most of it going is it or isnt it an April Fool, we thought it may not be as it was clevrly ended with the idea that the bbc iplayer makes amazing unmissable things unmissable and flying penguins certainly would be unmissable! Had they got David Attenburgh to do it, it may have been even harder to place as an april fool.

The penguins were great!

Re: Flying penguins
The penguins were so gorgeous, I really did want them to be true! Flap! Flap!
