I think we ended up with 7 (yes 7!) hymns for my wedding... luckily, we had both JDS on the organ and the chapel band from uni...

We had:

Praise my Soul (organ)
Be Still (band)
Such Love, My Jesus My Saviour, Only By Grace and another one I can't remember) (sung by the band during the signing of the register)
Be Thou My Vision (organ)

Kirri had 'Be Thou My Vision' at her wedding, which we videoed. When I next visited Miss Mercer in Kerry I played her the videotape and she cried. Not many people can cry at a wedding which they didn't attend!

Right less than 10 days now, sorry for lack of contact, but as you can imagine its been tres busy. Most importantly of all the Hen do....

Last saturday morning my best friend (also OB) donned are finest black dresses and some VERY sparkley jewels....and Im taken off in the direction of bond street.....
where we meet fellow hen do attendess outside Tiffany's-now for those that know my favourtie film is Breakfast at Tifany's and I just love Audrey Hpeburn.......where my lovely brother in law who has just droped his wife off, makes the man who drives up and down the road in a van that blows bubbles and plays songs come over to me and over his micrphone announce to the WHOLE street Im getting married and produces a white veil for me to don.....
Embarrassement and laughter over, we then eat pain ay chocolat outside Tiffanys and then go in to marvel at the pretty things. I have set my sights on the Tiffany charm bracelet and a beautfiul pink ring!

We then go to the theatre, to yes you guessed it Breakfast at Tiffany's, which i thought was very well done. As many of you may have read the critics have not been all that nice, but I think Anna Friel made a very good Holly Golightly. The play was true to the book but with many scenes recognisable from the film. And all the critics mention Anna Friel getting naked on stage but they fail to mention the lead male gettin naked and well there was no realy attempt to cover anything up.

We then had a very lovely dinner in a VERY swanky restuarant and headed off to dance the night away in Strawberry Moons which was much fun and led to serious calve and knee ache the following morning.

Now its just a mass of list making and starting the fiddly tasks of favour box making and order of service folding/tieing

Yay! Today's the day! I hope that by the time Amy comes back down to earth she will be able to reflect upon a truly happy and memorable day.

Amy is ALREADY on Facebook, and someone has posted up some photos of Saturday. She looks beautiful and very happy - and so does her new husband!
