There! Dog Woof Lane has my vote.

I voted, and have forwarded the request to a number of people.

Just thought I'd ask the obvious question: Moobs? Is this frank, or self-deprecatory, or ...?

Haha, I actually really like the name. I came across a Lane in Devon while on family holiday one year with an interesting name - there is a photo of us all standing next to "Pig Leg Lane"!
I just think it's really sad that over here in Canada, most streets are just given a number. For example you could live on 10324 - 86 Avenue or 10932- 111 Street. BORING!!!!!!!!
It's nice that some places in the world like to be a little more inventive

Exasperatingly, the city council have now decided that a list will be made of all the public's sugestions for the new streetname and that there will be a Second Round of voting in September. How very silly. I'll let y'all know when voting starts (and what the eventual outcome is). Annoyingly, the name Florence Nightingale Way has proved popular - voted for, evidently, by morons who don't realise that Ms Nightingale already has two streets and a pub here named after her, plus there are a couple of statues of her.
Erm....Lonelymom, I have putative moobs but I'm working hard to make 'em vamoose. I'd like to stress, though, that they're only chubbiness-moobs, not genetic moobs.
Yes, there should definitely be more bizarre streetnames. Only one has survived in the whole of Derby and sadly it's not in the city centre. It's at Wilmorton, about a mile-and-a-half out. It's Dead Man's Lane.....there was a plague-pit there, one understands. Sadly it's now merely a cul-de-sac on a business park. But a pretty cool address for one's business.

Definitely a good name for a business address, but can you imagine if that business park was ever converted into residential? Would you want to live in Dead Man's Lane??? Scary!Mr Moobs wrote: Yes, there should definitely be more bizarre streetnames. Only one has survived in the whole of Derby and sadly it's not in the city centre. NOT FUNNY PHILIP! I wouldn't/couldn't ever live in a road called that. I'd love to live in Dog Woof Lane though
Florence Nightingale Way is soooo boring in comparison.
