I also believe that the fox which attacked the babies was sick.
No fox in rude health, would enter and wander about as this one did.
HOWEVER --- We are not talking about "Country Foxes" here, Kind,---- and grossly mistaken people, feed the blighters, because they are so "Sweet"
Don't blame Charlie Fox, he is not daft, and will take kindly to any environment which enables him (or her) to have an easy life and breed undisturbed !!

I believe that stastistics now show that there are more foxes in Urban areas than in the Rural areas ---- Think on !

My sister-in-law living in Mill Hill (London NW7) was plagued with foxes, which lived on a bit of waste ground behind her garden. She particularly hated the cubs which "played" on her lawn, digging holes just for fun.n However one of her granddaughters had the idea of scattering chopped up lemos and it woked! No more digging cubs.
