I should have added... 'Where's Marty?'. Don't think we have heard from him since March. Are you out there somewhere, Marty..and are you OK?????

You beat me to it Kerren. I have just read the news in the Metro newspaper (the free one my husband picks up on the bus!); my immediate thought was 'how fitting that it should happen on JR's birthday!'

I guess Marty has been too busy submitting votes to be able to find time to visit the forum.

OK - My birthday was a couple of days ago, so now I can come clean, if you'll pardon the expression.

Brucie did it JUST for me.

Apparently, Marty has strayed elsewhere !

Sad. Come back, Marty. All is forgiven (if 'all' means deserting us for three months.....).

Mmm yummy - thanks for posting!

Yes, I've been away for a while. Had a rather busy year one way or the other. Sadly my dad passed away last May after a short battle with cancer but on the brighter side I got married to my gorgeous girlfriend last week. Unfortunately the Mrs doesn't share my penchant for Ms Bruce so I'll have to watch that video whilst she's out.

Best to all of you!

Isn't it nice to have Marty back with us? - even if his interest in La Fiona is now eclipsed by his gorgeous wife! Congratulations, Marty.... be very happy. And I am sorry for your bereavement, too. Those of us who have been there know how tough it must have been for you.

Aw shucks - thanks guys! I'm blushing

You'll be pleased to hear that despite my nuptials I shall continue to admire Fiona from afar. As per the restraining order.

Didn't know you'd starred in 'If', Marty?!
I remember thinking it was wonderful - but maybe that was because of my age (or lack of it) at the time!

My uncle was the production accountant on the film 'If' and appeared in it as an extra - briefly as a master in cap and gown coming out of chapel - I never much liked the film, but some of the background music (Missa Luba) was terrific. And do see what you mean about Marty's looks!
