Thought for the Day

Post by Eruresto » Fri Apr 01, 2011 12:05 am

A quick heads-up to let you all know that I've been invited to give the Thought for the Day on BBC Radio 4 tomorrow. I'm incredibly honoured to be speaking for three minutes on the Today Programme. You can hear me at 0748 (give or take a minute, depending on the papers review and suchlike), or if you miss it, on the iPlayer or the Thought for the Day podcast.

Hi Josh,

Being a sceptic I had a little look at the BBC Radio 4 Scheduler which had this for today....

0747 Thought for the day with Greshan Professor of Divinity, Lord Harries of Pentregarth.

So.... nice spoof???

Actually.....it was the recording that made me suspicious - especially as the iPlayer version isn't available yet!!!!!

Sorry....I've obviously worked for the police for too long!!!!

Hope FB goes better for you!!! (but enjoyed the thought - have you considered Theology College???? Meant very seriously!)

HOWEVER ---- Did you hear Radio 4's "Report" at 7.30am, of 3D listening, achieved by moving the hand, to and fro, in front of the face ?

Brilliant !

All the best at Cliff, Josh! I have several friends connected with the college in fact my good friend Lorna is featured on the homepage - on the left hand side of the group shot - lady in green jumper! Lives here in Turku.

Maybe Prayer for the Day next year, Josh - now R4 will be on red alert... All Old Blues will have to wake up at an even earlier hour!
