I don't know what made me Google her just now. So sad that she has reached the end of her great adventure. RIP.

I've got tears in my eyes. Maggie was a terrific person!

Thanks for letting us know, Kerren. I was beginning to fear that her time had come, May she rest in peace.

She certainly was.

Her last PM to me was exactly a month before she died, and it was typically generous and encouraging. She said, too, that once having signed the "do not rescuscitate" form, she "felt a deep peace".

RIP Maggie; I miss you.

This has made me sad. I didn't really know Maggie very well, but she was so kind and thoughtful when Louise was ill, and knowing that she, amongst others, was thinking about Louise really helped me at a difficult time. Sleep peacefully, Maggie xx

Very sad to read this.

I loved Maggie's pithy style on here and felt humbled by her courage as she embarked on her "awfully big adventure."

RIP

I was beginning to fear the worst too but didn't think of googling. Well done, Kerren. And RIP Midget indeed, I too was struck by her composure and courage in the face of her "awfully big adventure".

I will do an obit for the next issue of The Old Blue but the copy deadline is just a few days away. Obviously I can pull something together from postings on the forum, but is there anything anyone would particularly like to mention? Or would anyone else care to write it?

Condolences to her Family, and all of you who knew her.
I only knew her from this Forum, but she had a great attitude to her problem, which has encouraged others -- including myself !

Thank you for taking on this task Jo. Will it be possible to ensure that Maggie's family receive a copy? I believe that her husband was well aware of her activity on the Forum, and how much we respected her, but I know that I would love to read the obit if I were in his shoes.

I'm sure that would be possible - the CHOBA office must have her address.
