Charles Hazelwood : Paraorchestra

Post by kerrensimmonds »

Has anyone else watched the programme on Ch4 just now? I thought it was brilliant - and it made me proud to have been at the same school (albeit somewhat earlier) as Charlie Hazelwood. I look forward to seeing his Paraorchestra in the Closing Ceremony of the inspirational Paralympics, this evening. What an inspiration.

*************** missed it - I was watching the Monza Grand Prix - that'll teach me to read Radio Times! It doesn't look as though I can get it on iplayer either - unless anyone out there knows better?

Surely there must be some form of retrospective viewing from Channel 4, Frances? I am currently watching the Closing Ceremony (rather the preparations for it......) in the hope of seeing Charlie's paraorchestra.

It will be repeated - during the small hours! Set your recorder...

No recorder! I'm checking out 4OD via iplayer on my laptop, and it says that it is not available. It is not clear whether the programmes in the early hours all this week are repeats or further episodes. However I think my daughter is going to be able to record for me via Sky - I'll watch it next time I am there!

Message on Skype - done! Thank goodness someone in my family understands technology. Charlie Hazlewood was at CH with both my daughters.

Yes he is so inspirational to get this special orchestra together-wonder if we will hear any more about them or was it a one off for the Paralympics?
