Sponsorship for a charity volunteer 4 months in Mexico

Post by minihobo89 »

Hiya
I'm going to Mexico with the Christian Charity Tearfund on March 11th and have so far saved up enough for the trip. However a few last minute expenses such as a new passport, £200 vaccinations and necessary equipment have caught me off guard. Does anyone know where I would be able to get some sort of sponsorship?
I was in Hunt A from 2000-2007!
Thanks

You've left it a bit late, but you should speak to the Benevolent Society of Blues (BSB) IMMEDIATELY. The persons to contact are either Rowena Harris or Judy Wright on 01403-247418. I am sure that they will advise you to get your request in rapidly. At the worst the BSB will say no, but I think they may well help. Let me know here how you get on.
