Probably from the Wardrobe room in one of the Houses

That's a point, Barbara! Though my recollection of the Wardrobe Room feels 'darker' than pine...
On another thread I suggested either the Art School, the Geography Room or even the Chapel......

It would be good if someone could recognise it!

I think I am with Barbara on this being Wardrobe Room - come on we have some ex-Wardrobe Room girls here! Presumably it was a lot darker in our days and has been stripped in its later life. I would love to have it, but don't think it would fit.
