ok and now i'm confused because the list that matron gave me shows the labels on the outside of kit but the new starters pack and the website have them on the inside. i've just sewn one on the outside of the swimsuit and i really hope i wont have to unpick it because its the first neat one i've managed!

Name tapes always used to be on the outside of clothing but it`s probably a Child Protection issue or something as to why they`re now inside
One of the matrons on the forum should be able to clarify for you!

The labels definitely go on the inside now, ie the back of the collar of tops and the waistband of trousers and skirts. The swimsuit one should be inside, but it won't really matter.

Yes, as Lonelymom says, the labels are all to be inside the clothes now. Please remember to label EVERYTHING!!! Saves a lot of time and trouble for matrons searching for items lost in the laundry for an upset child! Good luck with all that sewing - I remember it well!

thanks for that. i'm up to date on official clothes. next up is bedding and towels. Amazing how the hours fly by of an evening. Me and my sewing machine in the quiet of the evening with the feral noises of deepest Kent outside!

My daughter only started last Sept and we ran out of Cash's tapes by May this year. Cannot believe it - I bought 144! Have just bought ANOTHER 144 and am praying that she doesn't grow too much in the next few years.

My daughter is counting down the days both to her birthday and to her starting CH. Veeeeeery excited. She is all measured up for uniform and we will send this off next week.
Who else has new starters this year and which house are they in?
