i know when I invigilated the entrance exams a couple of years ago, several candidates had gone through the books at home already - whether they`d borrowed them from primary schools I don`t know......
the problem is, if the books that we use are widely available, the results are somewhat invalidated!

I think buying the 11 plus practice books from WHSmith or similar would give you an idea. I know the maximum on those is 140 and they grade the child according the the age.

i had Mat tests - they usually involved needles and ultrasounds!
