Four weeks to half term

Four weeks to half term
I much prefer the usual 3 week stints of school followed by a leave weekend or holiday, 4 weeks feels like a long time. I imagine it is hard for 2nd formers as well. Oh well the time will soon pass I suppose.

And yet I think it's only 5 weeks after half term, but I'll have to check that, it might be wishful thinking...
Re: Four weeks to half term
Yes I think you are correct, after half term it is 3 weeks , then leave weekend then 2 weeks to Christmas hols.

But you're talking about being a pupil. I'm sure my son doesn't miss me a fraction of the amount i miss him!
Re: Four weeks to half term
Agreed, I am sure DS is not missing us, however we do miss him! Anyway back to normal now - only 3 weeks to half term!

Only 4 days now!! Dreading the 7am start on Saturday though........
Re: Four weeks to half term
7 a.m thats a lie in!
Yes looking forward to having DS back home for 2 weeks, as I said previously we have missed him, not sure whether he has missed us at all though! Still at least he is happy and appears to be even busier than ever at CH. I think he has learnt to manage his time much better nowadays which means he can fit even more in and still manage to get his prep done on time!

Glad he is getting himself under control!!
And 7am is certainly not a lie-in!! Not when you have to drive for at least 3 hours.....and I will probably LEAVE at 7am, not get up then. Sob, sob! And when I then drive back with DD fast asleep beside me. Oh joy. Still, at least I get to eat all the midget gems.

We only have a half hour trip home, but I can guarantee my son will be asleep within 10 mins
