A curious feature of this picture, at least to my eyes, is that there are no masters. Every other house pic I have seen has the two housemasters and the matron sitting in the centre. Perhaps, it was a Prep thing?

Some more names on this pic:

Middle row, third from right is a boy named Heath.
Second row down, the boy with the disgracefully crooked bands is John Rees, known as "Tick".
Second row down, 3rd from left: the late Nick Johnstone
middle row, 8th from left: Keith Hildrew
top row, fourth from right: Tim Huntingford

I do recognise several people who went on up to Coleridge B.

Minnett: MacCleod: Peter Donaldson, (now working in Dubai): Bennett, (Deceased): Atkins: Neil-Smith (?), and a couple I can't put names to.

UPDATE: Also now, sadly no longer with us !

Hi Paul. Unfortunately, your names doesn't ring any bells.

I joined Prep B at the tender age of 11 at the end of January 1958.

What was your 'history' in CH after 1957 onwards ?

I believe, from correspondence I had with a number of Old Blues earlier this year whilst compiling an obituary for Tim Donaldson, that his brother Peter is still alive and well and living in Dubai.

I am fifth from the left back row. I could have (possibly) remembered everyone's name a few years ago

Mark Cousins (of Maine A) was Senior Grecian for 1965/6. He had a younger brother, Tim if I remember rightly.

2nd Row seated: 3rd from left as you view MacCleod (?sp) senior, who went on to become Detective Inspector, West Sussex Constabulary and at one time staioned at Horsham.

4th Row Standing: 6th from left with glasses. Bennett, who was in Coleridge B with me. I'm told he died in the States at a young age some years ago.

3rd Row Standing: 4th from Left. Donaldson. I was in touch with him until a couple of years ago when he was working in Dubai.

There are also a couple of very familiar faces in the front row who preceeded me to Coleridge B by one year, but names escape me at the moment.
I seem to remember hearing Bennett on the radio many years ago.

I believe he was something of an expert on wine.

He also had basic hypnotistic skills which worked on some younger house members, assuming they weren't 'faking' it !

True. Frank Hunter was 1964/65.
