National Service "Helped" some Soldiers ------

I had, under my command, a certain Lance/corporal Charlton R. who was quite good at Football --- but couldn't get into the Team, which I captained (The Rugby Ream)

I would like to think that my "Care and guidance" of him, enabled him to make his way in the World --- after leaving the Army

Yes ------- Sir Bobby Charlton !!!!!
