The Lynd Cross - I'm saddened.

Post by J.R. »

Jan and I were doing some seasonal shopping in Horsham yesterday afternoon, and as is our usual way, stopped at the above Wetherspoons for a couple of 'bracers'.

For those of you who know the said hostelry, you will remember that on the long trek up to the toilets on the first floor, there are many prints and photos of Horsham in them 'good old days'.

I was horrified to discover yesterday, that the one of Christs Hospital has apparently been ripped from its mountings on the wall !!

I'm somewhat surprised that of all the fascinating photo's, this is the one that has been purloined !!

To be honest, Neill, my 'favourite' managress wasn't on duty, or I'd have had a chat with her about it !
