Can anybody recognise these?

Anything that doesn't fit anywhere else, but that's still CH related.

Can anybody recognise these?

Post by eucsgmrc »

From around 1960. I suspect this is somewhere near Arundel, and it might possibly be the summer term whole hoilday. It looks like a father with two sons. Can anybody from that era recognise them?

I don't recognize the people, but I suspect it might be Amberly. It was a popular destination for whole holidays.

It may just be possible to recognize the blazer badge of the younger boy if you blow the picture up -- I think it's a dagger, though I can't be sure. Maybe a Middleton fleur-de-lis. Definitely not a Thornton rose.

It's probably in Arundel, but may just be Pulborough. I think you're right about the whole holiday, but it may just be a Sunday visit.

Edit: Could they be the Hiner brothers? The elder is looking adolescently surly, the younger still childishly eager.

Yes white was A and red was B from memory and of course the Hiners were Col A;
