Find music you like
Just been sent this link - http://www.pandora.com/
It lets you create your own 'radio' stations. After a while it'll ask you for a few details by way of registration (e-mail address / password etc.) and it will also ask you for a U.S. zip code. If you don't have one (like most of us) just find one somewhere and use it.
Happy listening!
(It did suggest a Melanie C song as being similar to Siouxsie and the Banshees, but I'm sure we can get the thing trained properly!).

Well, I've created around 15 'stations' so far - only 85 to go!!Mrs C. wrote:Brilliant, Richard! Makes a change from listening to the same old CDs whilst at the computer!
Only problem being that under "terms", it states you have to be a U.S. citizen. So what happens if you say you are, but you`re not ????

You can do the same thing at www.last.fm except it's not restricted to supposedly US-based listeners. If you do join up, please have a listen to nately , a 75% Old Blue indie/rock band.
Thanks,
Alex

Yep, we found a fantastic drummer back in March. Unfortunately, our drummer-retention-rate took another hit in October when he went to Australia for three months, but he's back in a couple of weeks and we've got some gigs lined up for February (Thursday 16th at the Dublin Castle in Camden and Friday 24th at Bush Hall in Shepherds Bush).
