Never came across him.

Yes, I managed to have a chat with him too. It's been a long time since he tried to get my Latin up to Oxford standard.

It's nice to know that he still says "yes" about once every second while you're talking to him. Some things never change!

On my screen, this comes up as 'Topic Reply Notification - I bum'. Quite appropriate for a public school.

I've only ever heard of him referred to as 'Rocker', well after my leaving CH, so I think it must be quite a 'new' thing.

Bizarrely a friend knows Emily Cummings .. Through this friend we have met at numerous social occasions over the last couple of years ... Neither of us realised that we were in the same year and many of the same classes at C.H.

Only a month or so ago did the penny drop...

Slightly strange..

I know the Cunninghams live in Tower Hill - the Vincent Smiths still live in Horsham as well if I remember correctly.

The Sillets are in Billingshurst and the Densions in Pulborough

And for that matter what happened to Revd Atkinson after 1978. He was my housemaster when I was in Mid B. It would seem that there were big changes after I left

As far as I'm aware he's living in Scotland, and is involved with the Caledonian Society of Blues.

Kerren will know for sure - she was due to be speaking at their Founder's Day do yesterday.

Nick Jones took over from I.A. in Mid B - his style was rather different, to say the least!

Very glad to hear Mr Rae's alive and well (as of 2005 anyway)... a pleasant and capable teacher, he got me through O-level Maths. I distinctly recall being rudely awakened at least once by flying chalks... my attention definitely tended to wander outside on hot summer afternoons.
