New Users - 2nd Formers or Squits?

Post by greg »

It is great to see that this website is doing so well, and it has already brought memories flooding back. However, new users being listed as 2nd Fomers? Surely we Jonny-come-latelys should be classified as Squits, or has the world moved on making that too poltically incorrect?

Hi Greg, althuogh termed as squits by most - you can't technically call them that at the school any more - ridiculous really!

...and hence, we're nodding towards the school's political correctness and trying not to upset anyone!

Some of us were "squits" when we joined the forum. I rather enjoyed being a squit again after all those years.

And those of us from Hertford were not called Squits or Second Formers, so its all rather confrusing.
But I am glad to see that you clearly got home safely Dave, after your long drives over the last couple of days!

As far as I am concerned, squits is altenatively known as '"Delhi Belly" or "Montezuma's Revenge".

I think in '65-'66 the most junior year were Second Formers but they were year 6.
