Christ's Hospital is close to which Sussex town?
What are ex-pupils of CH called?
What colour are the socks worn by current Blues?
What is the usual abbreviation used for Christ's Hospital School?
Which part of the current CH uniform is bright yellow (one word answer)?
I think the Hertford Old Girls should be able to answer all of those satisfactorily, so well done.

However, I think most of Barbara's questions could be answered by those of us who have spent time on this forum but before doing so, particularly without the advantage of a brother educated at Horsham which both of us had, I don't think many of the others could have done so. That sentence got very long and convoluted but I hope you get my meaning.

BTW I remember our creasing up in laughter reading a rugby report headline 'Old Blues are fast and persistent' - cue JR?

Not so sure. A Toyce is, AFAIR a rope with a tassel like object on the end used in flaggelation (down JR - you can't have it).

School song - you mean that Latin fing loike "Unum Contentum tolitay? I dunno wot its called. Oi just sings it, baas.

I couldn't answer question 3. It certainly was not Edward VI - he was more the figurehead/idea man/sponsor brought in after the founders had done all the hard graft. Do you think Gloucester runs the school now?

What is kiff? Surely that is the wrong tense - does it exist any longer when it has coffee in houses as competition?

one out of five - do I pass?
As for CJ's bot - keep it to yourself.

I'm not 100% certain though!

Even longer since I did "O" level French!

Arthur Rider taught me in my GE year.
