I'm quite partial myself !!!Angela Woodford wrote:A very personal opinion - sorry!
The logo of a drum doesn't mean anything to me as a Hertford Old Girl!
It is a very good picture though - like the rounded edges!

OK, Angela; what logo would you suggest?Angela Woodford wrote:A very personal opinion - sorry!

Perhaps a copy of one of the old prints of a Christ Hospital pupil? Male or female? what about copyright? Where does he get the image from?
I'm sure he would be happy to consider any suitable suggestion but do remember that it has to be something which is incontrovertibly Christs Hospital and not one of the "look-alikes". Having the badge in clear view would at least be an advantage, perhaps a prerequisite.

What happens if a politician drowns in a river? That is pollution.
What happens if all of them drown? That is solution!!!

As we're unofficial, we really can't use anything officially CH without permission.
Given that I took the photo I've used, I'm hoping that nobody would mind me using it for the logo.
If anyone does have any concerns, do let me know though as I don't want to breach any rules/sensitivies.
I'm open to suggestions, but am also very keen that the logo is fairly bright, clear and modern if possible...
There's also the argument that we started with a drum, and hence why I chose that to turn into the logo...

Although a Hertford Old Blue, I don't have a problem with a drum!
There is a very old photograph of Hertford, featuring the band (of little boys....) in front of the School Hall, with the drummers in front. So although this was before our time (and for 90-odd years there were no drummers - that I knew of, anyway! -in Hertford), I would argue that the drum showing the crest is iconic enough for the CH Forum.

Me too. I was at Hertford & Horsham so it is relevant to me anyway.englishangel wrote:I am with Kerren on this one.kerrensimmonds wrote:Although a Hertford Old Blue, I don't have a problem with a drum!

Aw, poor Munch
I love the colours of the drum - and it does have the badge slap in the middle, which is relevant to us. Er, it is, isn't it? I'm having a senior moment (or, as my daughter so quaintly refers to such episodes - a brain fa*t).
