New Webhosting now in place....
The Unofficial CH Forum now has it's own professional webhosting, and hence shorter and tidier links, and hopefully a more reliable level of service.
If you have bookmarks to the site, they will need changing to
http://www.chforum.info
The old links will NOT WORK after the end of October, so update your links asap.
This move has followed a good initial response to the donations (thanks to everyone who's donated) which gives us enough for around 5 months hosting so far - more donations will be needed in the longer-term to keep it running, so if anyone else would like to donate a small amount then that will secure this new hosting.
Thanks,
Julian

MESSAGE TO JULIAN
Julian,
Well done on such a quick changeover. You must be putting a great deal of your own time and energy into running this excellent site and I am sure that I speak on behalf of all users in thanking you. I know that it sounds very, very old-fashioned but "Good Show!"

Well David
Let's face it! Considering the excellence of our vintage we have every right to be a little (as you put it) "old fashioned!"
However I would prefer the term "polite", but I won't quibble and I happily echo your sentiments.
(I might even get round to a small contribution when I have finally balanced the ease of Paypal with the pecuniary advantage of payment by cheque)

It's worth noting that Paypal takes 54p of every £10 donated - not an insignificant amount.
So payment by cheque, although more hassle for the internet-savvy, provides a great "bang for your buck"!

As a new member to this I want to say well done! Having done IT & Computing degrees I know just how much hard work you have put into the site. All it needs now are a few more peeps to start up some discussions that all can add their bit to!
