WOW! That would be something. Perhaps worth a topic all on its own. There has been a lot on here about all this sort of thing. One day I hope somebody can categorise and concatinate all the interesting material here for the archives.Fjgrogan wrote:H'm ..... anti-bullying code? I still have somewhere the masterfully drafted letter sent out by Miss Morrison and Mr Baker at the time of the merger, on the subject of fraternisation between the sexes. I really must search for it.

Brilliant news all those who got their big packages today - I can still remember that feeling
Fingers crossed for all those still waiting - I hope your big packages arrive tomorrow!
Can't believe the lovely Mrs Brakes is still there - I'm sure she was retiring years ago. She's absolutely the loveliest women there

Well musicmum, now you have dipped a toe into the Forum and you will have a legitimate connection you can jump in with both feet.

I have "browsed" this Topic with interest,--------
Having read the subjects included in the Tests ------
In 1940 I would have failed miserably ---- many of them didn't exist then !!
Being a Geriatric has it's advantages
Come to think of it -- I DID fail -- having come fourth in a competitive exam for three, to go to CH.
One of the "Three" died in the first Blitz, they took number Four, so I squeezed in !!

Yes, good luck to your offspring (and indeed to you as it's the start of quite a journey)!
