New Clerk

Anything that doesn't fit anywhere else, but that's still CH related.

Another vote of confidence for communication levels at CH!!

In the current economic climate I suspect that some likely candidates for the post of Clerk might regard the position as something of a poisoned chalice, especially as the last incumbent jumped ship after just a year. Perhaps the Foundation need to look for a magician rather than a financier: what's David Blaine up to these days...?!

I think I like this thread !!! :D

By the way ! Are question marks no longer in use at CH ??

I could insert one, however....................

Sadly, the record is not good. The hierarchy for Old Blues is: The Clerk, Director of Development, CHA Manager, CHA Administrator. Since the CHA was set up four years ago:

1. The new Clerk arrived in a blaze of publicity and departed (for reasons never made public) after just one year.
2. The Director of Development (Curtis) who played a key role in designing and establishing the CHA resigned as it was starting, was replaced after 4 months by a new Director (Rider) and then after two years she, too, resigned. And after a gap of six months has still not been replaced.
3. There have been three CHA Managers (Sara Voice, Zoe and Michelle) in three years, each of whom lasted 11-12 months and then resigned, usually in floods of tears. The most recent resignee has still not been replaced.
4. Wendy who has kept this ship afloat departs in June and there is no news of a replacement.

The feedback to Old Blues has been at best minimal; at worst non-existent.

These are facts. Comments I leave to others.
