If you are going to go all metaphysical, you can divide by nought and the answer is infinity.

And I doubt if any of my odd socks match yours.

A recent leaflet through the door about home safety informed those with open-fires to ensure that an inflamable fireguard should be used at all times....

Why do flammable and inflammable mean the same thing?

And if they did it would set some tongues a-wagging!

How can it be that Crimestoppers tell you that you can report a crime anonymously and also claim a reward?

How do they know who to give the reward to if you are anonymous?

Mrs C. wrote:Why does it always rain when I take the dog for a walk ????
Why did it never rain on a Sunday afternoon in term time so we could stay in?

The answer was in the Financial Times in Jan 1995 (from memory - I've got the article somewhere) but I still couldn't understand why!
What happens if a politician drowns in a river? That is pollution.
What happens if all of them drown? That is solution!!!

Now that is definitely inflammatory, metaphysical and a mystery of the universe all rolled into one.

However you do have two daughters who would have been how old at the time?

Why in films, when someone is using a torch they ALWAYS shine the torch directly at the camera at least once?

Again in films, when people are running away someone has to fall. (sorry ladies but it's usually a woman)

Yes, I always think 'silly cow'. Or alternatively she breaks a heel, so stops and pulls the other one off and runs like that.

It is impossible to walk like this so I think running would be out of the question.

and no, I am not going to break a pair of shoes just to check.
