North East England Old Blues
I tried a couple of times leaving messages with the official contact for the NE Old Blues but never had a response. It would be nice to hear of any other OB's who are this far north?
I'm in Newcastle by the way....

Only employer I can think of in Riding Mill is the EB.
I live in Stocksfield, but you can probably guess by the age that I'm well past chasing lasses in the Bigg Market or anywhere else for that matter.
I have a feeling that "adlop" and "Bronwen" put these posts up some time ago, but maybe if they are still around there could be a nucleus for a drink in the NE.

HI all !
Would be great to arrange a drink/coffee meetup thingy sometime. Is there a way to private message here to see what suits everyone?
Sorry I'm not true Geordie enough to brave the Bigg Market but good to see some of us still have the ability to do a bit of scaring the locals

I have often wondered, as I live on the A404, am I on the Road to Nowhere?

Re: yay :)
Surely a fairly random posting, Mary - at least to those of us who struggle a bit with the technology. What website? Which Nowhere? What has the A404 got to do with the NE or, indeed, any of it?englishangel wrote:I checked your website.Bronwen wrote:HI all !

I really am on the road to Nowhere - it finishes by a gate, in a wood, on the headland, near the open sea. Oh, and it has no number or anything.

In Windows speak (sorry if you have Mac) 404 means 'website not found'or somesuch.
Bronwen, has a www at the bottom of her posts which takes you to a website which philosophises on 404.
So yes, it was a totally random posting.
The A404 runs from Brent Cross around the NW of London at least to Maidenhead on the M4 and possibly further.

does it not say along the bottom, 'friend, ignore, pm, email, and for Bronwen (and Jude) http://www.'?
