as the years went by the more i stayed at CH during leave days/ weekends. yeah sometimes i had to stay in another house but it was quiet which was good. leave days.. yeah i think i was home for like 5 hrs. it became pointless and tiring. sometimes i would just go to horsham, or my grandparents would come up from brighton for a pub lunch.
seperately becuase my parents had split up when i was three... and our family got ever more broken through the years, CH became somewhat a sanctuary for me and such leave weekends i stayed at "home" (in school).
with hardly anyone around it was nice to walk through the sports fields or use the sports centre. also a number of times it was a good time to cram in some work if i was behind.
i remember when everybody got back they would be tired from travelling and sorting out their stuff and i would just be chilled having not bothered to leave.
i think on my first year we didn't have leave weekends in the first term to get us used to being away from home - we went right up to half term. has that been abolished now that everything seems softer? anyone know?

Not at all, and as proof:englishangel wrote:I would, but he's rather a long way away.
Are you denying you are mad?
a) I come from Amersham, and
b) I was at Horsham, and
c) I have a strange nordic moniker which, when properly initialised is self-defining, and
d) I post from a frog box
e) I'm not quite sure if posting here is evidence but what I post could be
After that I suppose you are still not satisfied
"He" will just have to make do with a virtual pint or a San Miguel

(To explain, some cats make me severely ill very quickly)

More seriously, seems to be a software problem; I used the "edit" function to add just a few words but it reposted.

What happens if a politician drowns in a river? That is pollution.
What happens if all of them drown? That is solution!!!
