Carol Concert tomorrow....hope to see you there?

Anything that doesn't fit anywhere else, but that's still CH related.

The brass sounded very good.

I only introduced myself to Julian and Matt because I recognised them from their photos, I don't know if I have ever seen one of you.

Ruth was chatting to Matt so he introduced her to me, I would not have met her otherwise, she is a petite person and would probably have got lost in the crowd.

I will certainly try to be there next year.

Interesting that we used St Sephulcure (spl?) instead of St Andrew's this year. Although St S has a stronger link with CH, it isn't in such good nick and the organ has fallen apart meaning we had a rather boomy electrical organ. (No comments please JR).
It wasn't 'full' - you could have fitted another 100 or so in there I guess!

Good drinking to be done at the Bishop's Finger - but it was very hot!

Caught up with some old friends and people off here, including JT, Ruthie-Baby, EnglishAngel, Debbie GP...
..... As if I would, Matt !

I had a pleasant evening watching footy, (what else?), at Meadowbank.

Glad you all had a great evening.

Didn't anyone take any piccy's ????

That's OK - Julian pointed you out to me - my fault for not going to say hi!

And JR - I didn't take any piccies - I'm sure someone must have done!

I've just sent the pictures to Lou Barr to create a gallery on the CHA website, so I'll let you all know when the pictures are available online.

Glad to hear you all had a good time, I really enjoyed it and it was great to meet so many of you, even if I was up to my eyes in wine and mince pies...

That was so lovely, about half way through the concert the smell of mulled wine started drifting across.

And you are sure you didn't burn the kitchen down then? ;)

It sounds like you all had a great start to the festive season. I'm a bit peeved that we live so faar away. I spent this evening singing to deaf people - don't ask ...

It all sounds wonderful - Jonathan and I were with you in spirit. Well done to the organisers, singers, band and audience.

I am not in any of the pictures but in the picture with the two Housey boys I am to the right of the woman with very dark hair, that is Julie with whom I shared a room for two years.
