Went to see a James Bond movie yesterday, for the first time since 1972. First thought: once every forty years is enough. The only thing that's changed in the meantime is Shanghai.

I found Skyfall one of the best Bond films, mainly because the plot development and human characteristics presented were far more subtle and intelligent than usual. The chase sequences were also particularly imaginative. What more can one want?

(If it’s a reference to CH, does anyone recollect how CH was mentioned in “Scott of the Antartic”?)
