er ..... now I am indeed VERY confused!! The question is whether or not I actually NEED to be educated further given my time of life etc. etc.Euterpe13 wrote:... and ( IMHO) should be standardised...in the name of equality and aesthetics!
....tho' curiosity is indeed a powerful thing. ....?
PS "standardisation" might prove a little - how shall we say? - disappointing not to say uncomfortable. I mean, how far does it go (if you get my drift)?

Nothing wrong with good old fashioned lather and razor
Incidently, with you lot all getting 'the drift' syndrome, may I point out that if you drift too far, with razor in hand, the result is a nasty and painful cut just where you didn't want one !

Not on your tender portions! Regrowth and stubble=owww!! Whipping it off with a bit of wax is much less painful in the long run (and you don't run the risk of having your nether regions looking like George Michael in the 1980s).J.R. wrote:Nothing wrong with good old fashioned lather and razor.

Zob was Mr Lorimer. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzob !paddy wrote:I'm interested in this one: zob - to use a PC, to play computer games
That was used in my time (78-84), but in 2 different senses.
There was a teacher (a "master"?!) whose "insult" was Zob.
Maine B, then Lamb B, 76-83
