I don't remember if it was legal or not to slipper people. I only remember it happening once or twice in my first year and not after that (we're talking 1989/90). It was never done with a huge amount or malice and wasn't rife at all. Apparently the Children's Act outlawed corporal punishment but wh...

That's the one - people did rib her m...

Re: CDT
I'd forgotten all about Mr Snook! Didn't he teach CDT? Anyone remember Mr Grimshaw? He used to make me laugh with his funny ways. Think he went abroad somewhere after CH. CDT was great for a doss lesson, until I sanded some of my knuckles ouch. Mr Snook was a legend in Scout circles - for a number ...

He was gentle until you annoyed him and when he shouted in Dining Hall everyone would stop talking ...

Notwithstanding the total fairies above who obviously didn’t appreciate the glorious game. Old Blues RFC is in desperate need of players, it is a common misconception amongst old blues that you had to be in the 1st XV at CH to play for Old Blues, come along, all are welcome. Loz, Ma B/Ma A /...

Re: tunnels
The tube went all way out to the station (if you go down the steps you can see where they blocked off the tunnel). It runs under most of the original buildings (someone once released a stink bomb in chapel from under the floor). What I want to know is if it went out to Sharpenhurst as legend sugget...

Well, They are canvases attached to the wall, which are in the mural style. Brangwyn’s great wish was that they should be marouflaged onto the walls to become full murals - I suppose I am just honouring his wishes! -Thanks for the feedback. Most People seem to remember that organist, one tea...
