Great pictures! Is that Pauline Gaved in the middle of the bottom photo??
Thanks again Kim for this suggested identification. I can't remember her name but "Pauline" rings a vague bell. She certainly looks very similar to the Pauline in your 1977 photo, apart from parting her hair differently ...

Thanks Kim, seeing Sophie and Toni on the 1975 photo has made my day. I think I might have met the Clare on this picture too, I remember someone of that name and approximate looks coming into little dorm while I was there.

What's with the spotty blouses though, I thought they were striped?

Received this reply from the museum:

"Thank you for your enquiry today about the Christ’s Hospital book. I have spoken to the Curator and there has been a delay in finishing the book due to current refurbishment of the museum. The plan is to return to finishing the book within the next few months ...

CH is bottom right in this view. The road Vonny asked about goes straight up between the Dolphin and the station to the Meads "a large site in the Lee Valley between Hertford and Ware ... a group of grassland meadows, grazed by cattle".

Looks rather nice to me, and conveniently close to the school ...
