Good day everyone.
Kimchi is intrigued by the rumors that Kimchi has heard of the revival of Lousey!
Kimchi would like to know if this is true, and if so, where can Kimchi obtain a copy?
Kimchi would also like to know what has happened to the "Housey Peaceful Revolution".
Thank you in advance.

Re: Becomming a New Dep
kerrensimmonds: No, Kimchi does not have Korean connections. Kimchi merely chose this name after a popular, and delicious, brand of instant noodles.

Re: Becomming a New Dep
J.R: Kimchi totally agrees. Respect is a value that everyone should recognise as important, but harsh discipline is not always the way to enforce this. The Armed Forces should have a rigorous disciplinary system, infact, this is probably one of the tenets of every military, or paramilitary, force ...

Angela: No, no and no. The old Kimchi is unfortunately detained for an indefinite period of time. I am merely just righting some wrongs, and wronging some rights.
Josh: Thankyou for that excellent summary. You mentioned that social attitudes have improved, how is this?

Good morrow, everybody.
I'm sure you're as delighted as I am to hear that Kimchi is back, but UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT.
Let us forget about the past and look forward to the future.
Now for some enlightened debate.

Re: Becomming a New Dep
I'm sure I could !
That sounds like a threat to me.
Most have met me and my family and would be pleased to inform you that I would be QUITE capable of giving the said lesson !
Nothing like a good beating to revitalise the spirit of the old days.
Just something I thought was interesting ...

Re: Becomming a New Dep
I'm not sure why I'm bothering to post this, maybe I'm just a young rebel who needs the imagination beaten out of him/herself.
J.R.: Nothing like a bit of military discipline, eh? Maybe we should just turn CH into a dictatorship, with John Franklin as Imperator? Sure, a few beastings never hurt ...

Re: Becomming a New Dep
Kimchi , I think resorting to rudeness is your forte. Your responses to Alice and Mdget were nothing short of threatening. If ,however ,you want to intimidate people on this forum you will have to try harder. On the other hand, if you have something worthwhile to say I suggest a lucid and cogent ...

Re: Becomming a New Dep
Now I don't want to resort to rudeness, but it seems I have to.
*sigh*
midget: Kimchi's motives and means are, to put it bluntly, none of your buisness. Kimchi's alias has nothing to do with you, so drop it. Kimchi will reveal his/her alter ego if and when the time is right.

Re: Becomming a New Dep
Well, I think we can safely accept that Mr Franklin's wife is not the author of Kimchi's novel debut on the forum.
Is that really likely?
I guess we also might think it is a pupil who has lost a friend from the school and feels angry and upset.
If I was a pupil, and I had lost a friend, I would ...

Re: Becomming a New Dep
As you all have been saying, 3 terms is not enough to make a full judgment of a person's character, but one can at least deduce that Mr Franklin is trying to return the school to archaic ways. This shouldn't be happening. Christ's Hospital is a school of tradition, yes, but it is not inflexible and ...

Re: Becomming a New Dep
A word of advice to anyone thinking of going to CH.
Christ's Hospital is deceptively nice, on the outside, but once you've spent a couple of terms there, you'll see its dark underbelly, full of corruption and hatred. I know someone who didn't fit in, so they forced him out on a technicality. John ...
