Re: Lent Term Snow
Nothing on the official website yet but will def be checking. Mind you my daughter may still be snowed in on her hols........is supposed to be home Friday night before heading off to school on Sunday!
I can see me having to do lots of her packing, perhaps it's all a ploy on her behalf

Re: January Residential Assessment

I also believe that if you do too much tutoring/practice etc etc and they end up scraping through then are they going to struggle if it's at the edge of t...

Re: Swine flu - school closing for a week
Glad to hear that she is improving and enjoyed her visitors so much.
I had an op when I was 12/13 so my Mum smuggled in my pet guinea-pig for one of the days using a holdall

Re: Failing ofsted!
Sorry I didn't realise that other people didn't realise that you only need to "fail" in one area to be "given notice to improve", I think the ofsted thing is a completely farce from complete begining to end. Same with my childminder she had to get outstanding for every single sec...

Re: Failing ofsted!
I read the full report in detail but have forgotten most of it overnight. I think it should be available on line if you want to read it. The paperwork bit for staff and non-staff living on site has already been sorted and I think change has been implemented to the way the public have access to the s...

Re: Failing ofsted!
yes it was judged "inadequate" and given "notice to improve" on technicalities really something about the paperwork for staff, adults living on site that are not staff and something to do with the mixing of pupils with the general public using the sports facilities. I think it ha...

Re: Swine flu - school closing for a week
Glad to hear some positive news on both counts. Barnes Mum tell your daughter to keep her germs to herself, I don't want my daughter coming back home before end of term      After the deep clean my daughter is very pleased that showers in Barnes work much much better, wonder...
