He was on the payroll as a teacher, and stood at the front of the class in the same way a teacher did, but I’m not sure he really merited the title! A very odd man

Yes I am. The Karim trial seemed to have much more frequent updates. (Acknowledging what’s been said previously about press attendance/interest)

Re: The trial of James Andrew Husband and Gary Dobbie

We have been to a number of days during the various trials. A little manic at the moment, but hoping to attend a number of days on this to try and support those who have come forward.
Well done you, really good to hear there is support for the victims and witnesses

Why is it that the full fees are mentioned multiple times every time CH is in the news?

I can't figure out how someone can qualify to become a doctor (if they actually did), and yet make such a pathetic attempt at 'terrorism'. I also felt safer in London than I do in Sydney, as the security here seems to be non-existent, unlike the 30years of dealing with it in the UK. Hopefully I'm ne...

It's only taken me 6 months to reply to this post. Very slow internet connection here you see.

Theres a few permanent Old Blues here, and a few who are here to do the tour of duty.

Founders Day Lunch is nice though, same time same place this year i imagine.

Sydney - Founders Day Lunch

Roger may have posted this somewhere else. If not; Founders day lunch is on Saturday 23rd September. Aboard the Captain Cook. Contact Roger Wickens (see OB's website). Anyone travelling through is also more than welcome. Last year lunch turned into afternoon drinks in the Rocks, followed by dinner o...

Re: Not good!!

What I am interested in, is how the small number of kids from the whole year who are auditioned for the band got chosen to go on the programme . Was it the TV producers/Simmons choice or the schools? In the first program, they mentioned that the kids were all on classical music scholarships. So the...

I saw the first half, I think it is a series.

It began with Simmons walking right up to the band in the middle of parade, looking as if he owned the place. I'm sure there's a few retired bandmasters that would have given him a good slap for doing that!

My initial opinion is, 'could have been worse'.
