Going by what's been said - I actually think working in a hospice could really suit me. If I go into medicine, I'm going to have to deal with the fact that I won't save all my patients, and that's a concept I need to get used to. Working in a hospice, whilst most likely quite painful for me who ...
Yeah...icomefromalanddownunder was right. There's no reason at all why I should find a hospice funny - my half sister is in a hospice.
Just to clear up the misunderstanding
OK, thank you ^_^. O_O AAB wasn't accepted? Woah...congrats for Peninsula though! I've never heard of the problem based way before, but it sounds really interesting :D learn on the job as it were. Guess that means I'll have to know my stuff before I get there though - prior research needed ...
OK. They had nothing at CH nowadays, I had one 'work experience' thing when I was in UF where they arranged for us to go to the Barclays Bank in London for a couple of hours - but that was it...
I'll check out those sites you suggested! Thanks again ^_^

One last thing >_< - if you hear of any work shadowing opportunities, do you think you could let me know :mrgreen ...

I'm thinking about going into either biomedical sciences/neurology/psychology and wondered if any of you guys would be able to offer me some advice or if you know about some sort of work shadowing? Any feedback would be appreciated as I don't really know all that much - other than that this ...
I was wondering if anyone who went to UCL could possibly help me as I'm thinking about applying to go there. I'd like to go into medicine eventually - but have been told it's best to go in training for something else and then go into medicine afterwards...but I have no idea really O_O. Help ...
Heya, I'm not at/going to uni just yet - another year or two to go yet, damn AS Levels -_-.
But I'd like to know more about King's if possible - any info would be appreciated
(apologies for resurrecting this ancient thread o_O) Um, I'm looking for medical work experience as well - any type is fine tbh, though anything related to Psychology or Neurology would be preferred if possible. If not, is there anyone who knows someone I could talk to about advice or ...
