Welcome to the unofficial Christ's Hospital Forum - for discussing everything CH/Old Blue related. All pupils, parents, families, staff, Old Blues and anyone else related to CH are welcome to browse the boards, register and contribute.
That's really helpful, thanks.
I've been blocking by IP address individually, but I've added those IPs to the block list too now - let's hope it stems the flow.
I've been concerned for some time about the use of the phrase "historical abuse" to refer to the CH abuse cases and convictions... Also, the recent suggestion from The Archbishop of York that bringing allegations into the open would have "re-traumatised victims"...
I run The CH Forum - and setup it up to benefit Old Blues, in the days before Facebook, Friends Reunited (remember that?!) etc....
As donations have been limited (apart from a few very generous people who either send monthly or annual amounts, for which a MASSIVE thank you!) I implemented the ...
See below - request for info from a student someone at CH, would be great to help them out - post any replies/info, and I'll pass on to the school via the school office (current pupils aren't allowed to post on the forum, due to school policy.)

Some thoughts... 1. Having some full payers is a good thing in some ways - of course it does ...
Does anyone know the name of the matron who preceded her in Maine?
I have a photo of her her sitting next to 'Doggy' Barker in probably 1962. For some reason my Mac will not let me post it here. ``when I click on the image icon it just says in the text.
I’ve been contacted by a non-forum user, whose tech abilities mean they can’t post themselves easily - they’re looking for info about a “Miss Gracie who was a matron in Maine in the 1960”.
