Re: Letter to Head Master
Thanks for sharing so much Robert. It’s both surprising and utterly unsurprising at the same time, although it should go without saying that not every name connected with the boat should be considered a suspect of wrongdoing

Re: Letter to Head Master
I hope it’s in some way therapeutic for you to focus like this, I guess it gives you an outlet to channel your anger and frustration towards. I don’t understand the reference to Hayden- who is he? And can you share what about the boats came up at Martin’s trial? I don’t want to step into territory t...

Re: Letter to Head Master
Robert, you are doing fantastic work that few would be able to take on in the way that you have. However, it concerns me that you talk about the needs of the many outweighing your own- please remember that you matter just as much as every other victim and to take a break, seek support in whatever fo...

Re: Letter to Head Master
Thank you Robert. That’s more clarity than I expected you to be able to give and it’s appreciated. I’m not digging for info that could jeopardise further investigations, just continually seeking to make sense of things.

Re: Letter to Head Master
Thank you for sharing your letter. I hope it has an ultimately positive impact for you and the other victims. The 75 victims who haven’t come forward- do you mean that these are people that you are in touch with who haven’t gone to the police or that this is your estimation of how many victims there...

Re: Poulton, Cairncross, Sillett
Very fair comments. However, we can rely on victim statements because the jury believed them. Inaction can be difficult to prove, particularly when everyone passes the buck. Sometimes when there is so much confusion and ambiguity about roles and responsibilities, it helps to put faces to names. Let...

Re: Poulton, Cairncross, Sillett
I agree that people should not be tried by online forum, and that there should not be presumed guilt, but rather innocence unless proven guilty. I have a close relative who was a victim (later cleared) of a miscarriage of justice, so appreciate this point as much as anyone. But even if there’s no p...

Re: Poulton, Cairncross, Sillett
Cairncross was deputy head and designated child protection officer, which was laughable.

Re: Roger Martin trial & verdict
Vilified whilst I haven’t agreed with all that you’ve said I do admire how quick you are to accept you were wrong on an issue and to apologise. It must be distressing to hear that Martin tried to push the blame in the direction of yourself and others. Thank you for that kind comment. Yes, it's a na...

Agreed. Your use of the term ‘special needs’ as an insult is pretty bl**dy offensive.Leeautemps wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2019 5:39 pm Vilified, I don't like your name-calling or your attempts at legal landscape gardening.

Re: Roger Martin trial & verdict
Robert it’s good to see you back here, I’d noticed your absence and hoped that you were well. Thank you for attending the trial and reporting back with so much detail. It goes to show that it is often the smallest details in a case that make the difference, both to the verdict but also to those of u...

Re: Roger Martin - trial
He wasn't convicted of filming boys. That was relevant to show that Martin had an inappropriate interest in boys. He was convicted of putting the pupil in his [Martin's] own bed and then touching his penis. The boy was 10 and very homesick. That was demonstrably inappropriate, even in 1976. Thank y...

Re: Roger Martin - trial
I keep coming back to the cycling shorts parties and I’m surprised there haven’t been arrests yet. I dont think, in and of itself, something like having pupils provide silver service to a group of masters having dinner, dressed in cycling shorts would, strictly speaking, have been illegal. Inapprop...
