we have some rather old postcards, but are hoping to get new stock, along with other "memorabilia" soon.
The notelets are quite nice though, and we stock various books about CH, so it may be worth popping in if you`re here when we`re open in the afternoon.

It would probably have to be the Bax, because the Boar's Head was closed yesterday - there were notices in the windows but I was in the car so couldn't read them so not sure if it was just temporary or more long-term? it`s been closed for a couple of weeks or so now. Awaiting new landlord I think. ...

there is always fruit available in Dining Hall, as well as hot drinks.
In addition tuckshop will probably be selling hot drinks from this term .

my brother-in -law`s dog was an Andrex puppy in the add where the little boy`s sitting on the toilet and the pup runs away with the paper (at least I THINK it was THAT ad, may have been a different one, but still an Andrex puppy!!)

i only found this this morning - my condolences to her family.

most essentials can be bought in tuckshop if necessary (including shower gels, shampoo , toothbrushes and toothpaste!!)

gum`s not really encoursged - we`re not allowed to sell it anyway - but you have no control over what the pupils bring from home or buy in town .

not actually "run by" me - I just work there! But yes, I`d agree with spready things - we do sell those but they`re quite expensive. Just be aware that there may be pressure from older pupils to "share" tuck - it shouldn`t happen, but it does. In many respects it`s probably bette...

Did they not change because it is now considered 'wrong' to have a child away from home for a half term... As I pointed out earlier on this thread, things might have to change back again for the pupils now being recruited to CH from Hong Kong; presumably they will simply not be able to get home for...

The Masons (Sean and Charlotte) are in ThA, the Buckmans are still in the area I think as I see them around at times, Lois Helyar is in Norfolk somewhere - not got her address though

I couldn`t agree more! Only yesterday I drove past a woman cycling along the main road here, - no helmet , and earphones in both ears . And she wasn`t a youngster either! Further along the road was a family group of 6 - 2 adults, 4 children aged between around 4 - 10, all on bikes and not a single h...
