Re: Writing letters home

I can vividly remember letter writing home in Prep B, though cannot remember doing so in Coleridge B, though I'm sure we must have.

Re: Cross-country runs

In Coleridge B, I only remember Miles an PO's.

I don't remember any supervision other than starting and reporting back to house.

I've no recollection of double miles at all ever being given.

Re: Cross-country runs

I remember Mike Gladding sending us off down Peele Straight while he stayed in his Mini and caught up from time to time, telling us to go faster. The senior steeplechase continued along a driveway (which I think leads to muntham house school ) Well I've learnt something. Had no idea there was anoth...

All way far too soon in my book !

Richard B
would be the one to keep a check on the release date situation.

Re: Milk

In Coleridge B, pre 1963, I don't remember any milk being delivered to the house. There always seemed to be a SMALL quantity of milk available for the senior boys, as I recall, but I can't remember for the life of me, where it came from. I can only assume, direct from the dining hall, right next to ...

Re: Here's a hypothetical

McCall's name keeps coming up. He appears to have either died or gone abroad. One can't help thinking he will be happy to be as elusive as Lord Lucan. McCall is living in South Africa. I have this on the authority of the Police, when I reported him for sexual assault a couple of years ago If enough...
