holding hands and snogging ie enough to know they werent friends it was 1am on a Friday night - they were probably pissed, and yes, the whole school knew about it. I have no idea if they were warned or anything, but no further incidents were seen. One male member of staff was if not openly then obvi...

vonny - I remember that one, although only just as I was still quite young when it happened. a few sad scandals - a train suicide (desparately sad), and a few pregnancies of pupil-pupil kind - I think that's when they realised that in a newly formed co-ed school they might need to teach sex ed - doh...

*laughing* ach, I was a small, intelligent, nerdy girl who had led quite a sheltered life and was an obvious target. I'm sure you know who I mean - it isnt difficult to guess! the experience did make it very hard to trust people, and I am not a very touchy-feely person even now - I dont like people ...

Re: My Lifelong Hatred of Sport: Was CH to Blame?

I couldn't agree more! Remember being forced by other members of Col A to play goalie in the house hockey competitions. Was told it was for the good of the House. Load of ~~~. If it was that great I'm sure someone else could have done it. Hated every depressing minute of it. Quite frankly it was bu...

 when I was there, I never heard about Penguin bashing, although I would get seriously pissed off that we had to walk all the way into Horsham in our school uniform that only got dry-cleaned at the end of term - seriously sweaty - yeuch! that was so grim, giving kids woollen uniforms, even in s...

:D Hendrik, indeed. Personally I think it was one of the best decisions I ever made. The place was just not right for me. I didnt fit in. And it didnt help that from day one some little ginger haired bitch (no names, but I remember the cow very well....) spent the next five years making me a scapego...

what happened to that flop of a production he tried to take to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival? Bodyworks or something? He did it with someone rather famous as well, if I remember correctly. I do remember his as favouring certain pupils and then using those ones ad nauseam. There was nothing wrong wit...

I doubt it, Hannoir. I rarely use message boards because I have a bad internet connection. I got the link to this site from Julian on Friends Reunited - is that the one you mean?

What makes you think that you know me?

Its rather a vicious and unpleasant circle. I hate to say it, but there are still one or 2 people from my time at CH that I would like to see again on a quiet street on a dark night now that I am older if you know what I mean... with you there mate  Sounds like your story is similar to...
