I hear that the work is expected to be finished in time for speech day. Although the work is vital (to stop it falling down!) it is another example of the money that the school is having to spend on matters not 'directly' related to the education of the children.

We chose the larger size because we were impressed by another school magazine that had gone down this route. The price is the same, so far as printing is concerned, although we do have higher distribution costs. Our magazine is also given out to most people, i.e. Parents, Pupils, Staff etc.

To be fair, it is a rundown area and a well developed retirement village will raise capital for the school and help safe guard the future of the station. I believe that a major developer offered to build a new station in Broadbridge Heath on the assumption that it won a major housing contract.

The new reprographics room is mooted to go in the railway shed - anyone with an interest in the stock or the future of the railway ought to contact the school.
