Re: Corporal Punishment by CH Teaching staff

Golfer Corporal punishment was simply the Chastisement of the time, this according to what Guy Perricone wrote to me. It was nothing of the sort. For many it was direct physical abuse for gratification, being sexual or sadistic, and became very influential in the recipients 'worldview' for that indi...

Re: Resignation of Baker and emergency appointment of Hansford

Sorry for not responding to all of this sooner (almost wish that I hadn't asked the question). My Address to the Council is on the 2nd November so have been concentrating on that, but... whether people like it or not, the abuse continued under Baker and Hansford. I am concerned about the punishment ...

Re: Corporal Punishment by CH Teaching staff

Corporal punishment was a part of the '50s, 60s, and 70s. It was a norm and as Guy Perricone has explained to me was at that time an acceptable form of chastisement. However, I was at CH under Seaman and Newsome and the corporal punishment delivered had very little to do with 'chastisement'. Whilst ...

Re: Corporal Punishment by CH Teaching staff

You know I love you lot, as you represent the 'body and soul' of CH. Guy Perricone (not an old Blue) lasted one year as Treasurer & Chair. He did not understand CH and he can not be blamed for what he wrote to me - he followed the line. In just three weeks I am addressing the council - 2nd November-...

Resignation of Baker and emergency appointment of Hansford

Do any of you know why Baker as HM resigned out of the blue (no pun intended) and exactly what Hansford changed in his four terms of employment?

Thanks

Re: Corporal Punishment by CH Teaching staff

Corporal punishment was rife in my day. And it was administered in a way that was not required for basic 'chastisement' as I was told by the former Chair of the Council Guy Perricone. It was brutal and savage and often for pure sexual gratification. Newsome was renowned for it. Bob Sillett, that's t...

WHAT - I have only just read this.

Are you saying that Sillett's family were as corrupt as yo say?

An Adrress to the Governing Council

HI All I have put this on the general site as I need as much input as possible, please. Julian may decide that it should go on the separate abuse site. I have made the decision to address the Council at CH. This was difficult but I feel that it is appropriate. I have drafted my Address and amended a...

Re: The Governorship Of CH

I've re-read all your posts but I do not change my mind. The Governorship needs to change which has been my point at the start but it was the Governorship that allowed Burr to rape me.

Re: The Governorship Of CH

OK, you are both right - it does not lead directly to the sexual abuse issue. However, a balanced Governship Council is more likely to look at appointments and the background of both staff and senior staff. I am a man. Gender equality can be of extreme importance as the participation of the female a...

Bob Sillett

Hi All Lots of questions as always! Please remember that I am trying to write a formal address to the Governing Council and am trying to get in as many questions that I have been asked as possible. However, I need to deal with Mr. Sillett MBE now. 'Bob' Sillett attempted to cover up various accusati...

The Governorship Of CH

I wrote this way back in February of this year to two colleagues who attended with me at a meeting with the HM and Business Manager. I have redacted all names but thought you might like to see this below. Can anyone answer my question who elects or appoints the Governors? How are they chosen? Here b...

Re: Why a teacher DOES NOT have to report abuse

Yup Yamaha, you are right. They should have done something - I suspect over the 32 years covered, and the rest, there are a lot of teachers both male and female who could and should have done something. There are many reasons why people don't do something. I am not defending them but then I didn't d...

Re: Why a teacher DOES NOT have to report abuse

Come on chaps - Gregory was useless as a teacher and did beat people but remember he was a war hero to an extent. He did the Artic convoys where he was the only survivor of one ship and where he got his stutter. He then went onto do the Med, the Atlantic, and the Far East and he had more bl**dy meda...
